Santorini Thira Island Airport, also known as Thira Airport, is the largest in the south Aegean Sea and operates military as well as civil flights. The whole infrastructure is relatively sparse, including a small apron with limited operational function of up to six planes at the same time.
Santorini is the southernmost member of islands group called Cyclades. Located in the southern Aegean Sea and about 125 miles from the Greek mainland. The city Thira (classically Thera) forms the island’s capital.
