International travel from England, Wales and Scotland was made legal once again from Monday 17 May (and from Northern Ireland from Monday 24 May) following months of lockdown, and travel for leisure has returned with a traffic light system featuring green list countries that require no quarantine on return to the UK.

HOW DOES THE GREEN LIST WORK?
The traffic light system introduces a green list, amber list and updated red list of countries, with each colour meaning different rules for testing and quarantining. Anyone travelling to a green list country is required to take one test before departure, and one PCR test on or before day two of arrival in the UK. No quarantine is required unless the test is positive.
WHERE ON THE GREEN LIST CAN I ACTUALLY TRAVEL TO?
It’s important to remember that just because a country is on the green list, that doesn’t mean UK travellers will be permitted to enter. For example, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Falkland Islands are not currently open to tourists.
If you would like a quotation for a flight to one of these destinations please fill in the enquiry form and our team will check all the necessary entry requirements for you.
WILL THE COUNTRIES ON THE GREEN LIST CHANGE?
It’s highly likely that the countries currently listed will continue to change in future. The government will review the lists every three weeks, and while it’s hoped that more countries will be added to the green list, it’s not unlikely that more of the current green countries will turn amber if their Covid cases begin to rise.
