1,500 exhibitors have come together for the first time in 3 years, on the 18th of July 2022, at one of the world’s biggest aerospace and defence trade shows.
In a speech visiting UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said: “I’m glad that I finally made it to Farnborough, this famous air show, in the climactic weeks of my time as Prime Minister.”
£161 billion in deals were agreed at the 2018 show, so with 3 years of pent up demand, anticipation is high for the outcome of this years event.
More than 80,000 visitors from 96 countries are expected to attend this week’s five-day event.
Much of the focus will be on commercial manufacturing giants Airbus and Boeing.
