Athens International Airport, also known as “Eleutherios Venizelos” after the former Prime Minister of Greece, is the main stopping point between Northern Europe and the surrounding islands. The airport has a separate private business aviation terminal, so transfer from private jet to ground transport is quick and discreet.
Athens International is located approximately 35 km south east of Athens city centre. The city is easily accessible from the airport via Attiki Odos/ Route 62. This journey normally takes around 40 minutes.
